Skateboarding comps, Great live music & BBQ

What an amazing day, it does not get any better than that.

The whole day from start to finish was packed out with great young people all enjoying the action sports the great live music and the BBQ.

Superb skateboarding comp organised by Tony Wright from J's boardsports of Braunton. Excellent M.C. compare Jason Paulton (J to his friends, if he had any) and a panel of highly respected SK8 judges!.

We had seven great young bands playing, all excellent in their own special way and all very different. At one point during Ellie Cambell's set there was not one square foot of floor space left in the hall for any more spectators!, it was packed out to the rafters!!!.

A special big thanks to Isabelle, Burine, Kim and Jane for keeping us all fed and watered throughout the day (a 8.5 hour BBQ must be some sort of record !!!)

The biggest thanks of all goes to all the young people who made MY2 such a huge success, maybe we'll do it again sometime?

Skateboarding registration:~ 12 noon ~ 1pm

Skateboarding competitions:~ 1pm ~ 4pm

Skateboard Competition Details:

Register on the day - registration will start at 12 noon & the comps will start around 1pm

Let Tony know if you want to be a judge on the day, you'll get an official SK8 judge t-shirt for your efforts!

We will have two age categories depending on who turns up and if we can get enough girl skaters then there'll be a girl-only comp with prizes!

We will be looking for style, awesome tricks and obviously best bail, may consider special prizes for worst outfit, flukiest trick, smoothest griptape etc etc
